Über Gewißheit by Ludwig Wittgetstein

This book was written in the last years of Wittgetstein's life.

This book starts with a reference to G.E Moors Book "defence of common sense" or Verteidigung des gesdunden Menschenverstands. Specifically the example taken is the sentence "here is a hand", which is the prime example of the philosophy of common sense.

I think Wittgetstein challenges this idea.

I find it delightful that Wittgetstein wrote his notes in Vienna, where i grew up and am still living. There is not fact about this just indications.

6. Kann man nun (wie Moore) aufzählen, was man weiß? So ohne weiteres, glaube ich nicht. – Es wird nämlich sonst das Wort "Ich weiß" gemißbraucht. Und durch diesen Mißbrauch scheint sich ein seltsamer und höchst wichtiger Geisteszustand zu zeigen.

I fand es interessant das der schreibt der Gebrauch von "Ich weiß" kann ein Mißbrauch sein und zu einem seltsamen und höchst wichtigen Geisteszustand führen. Welche Geisteszustand er wohl meint und wieso wichtig und seltsam?
